The next First Thursday will be on November 4, 5-9 pm. We will not be open that evening, because the Art Attack event opens Friday evening, November 5, and runs through Sunday, Nov 7.
Masks are required for all Northrup King Building events. During regular shopping hours, masks are strongly recommended for everyone in indoor public spaces in Hennepin County, and are required in the building for anyone who is not fully vaccinated. Individual galleries and studios are able to set their own COVID and masking policies. Please bring a mask with you on your visit for that reason.
We are located on the 2nd floor in the timber and brick wing of the Northrup King Building.

The quickest way to 214 is through the 1450 Van Buren Street door that has the green awning. We are up one floor from there, just down the hall from Dyan J. Padgett Fine Art and Nickyworks.

The NKB is a complex of ten buildings first constructed in 1917 and used by the Northrup King Seed Company. Conversion to artist studios began in the 1980’s and the building now houses over 300 artists, making it the largest home to artist studios, arts businesses and nonprofits in the area.
