Kenwood Café – Minneapolis, Minnesota:
In September 2011 we had an exhibit at the Kenwood Café in the Kenwood neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota. This was a great venue for showing our artwork; the café had a lot of windows, nice high ceilings, green walls, and a friendly, community atmosphere.
We were living in Kaunas, Lithuania at the time and arranged to have the exhibit during an additional visit to Minnesota that year. The reception was more like a reunion than an art opening, because many old friends came. (It was our first exhibit in Minnesota since the 1980’s.) We were glad that our work was well-received. Sadly, the café closed it’s doors in January 2012.
